What shortens the life of a finish is repeated contact with chemicals, so take a piece off for housework, chlorinated water and cleaning products. Take everything off for the gym and for heavy lifting, where force rather than wear is the risk. Diamonds can be cleaned with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush; coloured gemstones vary, so ask us before cleaning one at home. Store each piece separately, away from damp, heat and direct sunlight. If a stone moves, a claw catches on fabric, or a clasp feels loose, stop wearing the piece and message us on WhatsApp.
